Theory of Change and Primary Research Questions 

Pilot and exploratory seed grants are intended to support preliminary research and formative project development activities. 

1. What is your theory of change? Your theory of change should be written out as: “If [inputs] and [activities] produce [outputs] this should lead to [outcomes] which will ultimately contribute to [goal].” 

2. What are the research questions you hope to answer, and what gap(s) do they fill in human trafficking research? Please be as specific and targeted in laying out these questions as possible, referencing and citing HTRI’s Research and Learning Agenda as well as the relevant academic literature. Applicants should demonstrate a clear connection between their proposal and questions in HTRI’s Research and Learning Agenda.
